The woman at the heart of a family story is also part of a shared historical record.
Kenneth P. Price’s personal-historical memoir follows Sonia and Abe Huberman through separation, reunion, and the family life they rebuilt. At the Dallas museum, archival photographs and testimony from Sonia appear in different parts of the permanent exhibition.
The museum’s Holocaust / Shoah Wing places survivor and liberator testimony throughout its account of the Holocaust. Its permanent exhibition also includes the Human Rights and Pivot to America wings.
